EPUSIL EP 140 FR
Very High Thermal Conductivity Epoxy Compound
DESCRIPTION
Epusil EP 140 FR
a potting/encapsulating epoxy system, UL 94 V 0
approved, giving extremely high thermal
conductivity. Several hardeners can be used to cure
EPUSIL EP 140 FR. However, where thermal
conductivity is critical, the hardeners with low
ratios should be used to prevent deterioration and
retention of properties.

MIXING INSTRUCTION
1.
Pre-heat Epusil EP 140 FR to 500C to 600
to enhance flow and air release.
2.
Stir contests thoroughly until all filler is
dispersed.
3.
Measure out required amount of Epusil EP 140 FR.
Weigh into it 7 to 7.2 parts of EPC 124 per 100
parts of Epusil EP 140 FR, or 4.5-5.5 parts EPC 11
per 100 parts Epusil EP 140 FR
4.
Mix thoroughly being sure to scrape sides and bottom
of mixing container.
5.
Where void-free castings or coatings are required,
de-gas for 2-5 minutes at½ to 1cm.Hg.
6.
Pour into mold or device.
