Description

Epusil RTV-262 is a mid viscosity, translucent RTV silicone Epusil RTV- 262. Is used in situations where component identification and vibration shock protection is needed. Epusil RTV-262 cure may be accelerated by the use of elevated temperature.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

1.        Weigh out amount of Epusil RTV-262 Part A.

2.        Measure 1 part of B side into each 10 parts of A side

3.        Mix thoroughly, scraping both sides and bottom of container.

4.        If void-free cured RTV is essential, evacuate the RTV at 0.15 cm pressure for about five minutes, immediately after catalyst incorporation. Excessive evacuation can result in slow or complete loss of cure. Evacuate only 1-2 minutes more after the head collapses.

CURE SCHEDULE

Overnight at room temperature (12-16 hours) at 250C; two hours at 450C; one hour @ 600C.
