EPUSIL RTV-263

High Tear, Low Viscosity RTV Silicone

Description

Epusil RTV-263 is a low viscosity, translucent RTV silicone Epusil RTV- 263. Is used in situations where component identification and vibration shock protection is needed and also as Mold Making Silicon. Epusil RTV-263 cure may be accelerated by the use of elevated temperature.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

1.        Weigh out amount of Epusil RTV- 263 Part A.

2.        Measure 1 part of B side into each 10 parts of A side

3.        Mix thoroughly, scraping both sides and bottom of container.

4.          If void-free cured RTV is essential, evacuate the RTV at 0.15 cm pressure for about five minutes, immediately after catalyst incorporation. Excessive evacuation can result in slow or complete loss of cure. Evacuate only 1-2 minutes more after the head collapses.

CURE SCHEDULE

Overnight at room temperature (12-16 hours) at 250C; two hours at 600C; one hour @ 800C.
