Low Viscosity RTV Silicone Gel
Description
RTV-268 is a low
viscosity, transparent RTV silicone Gel compound
which cures to a water-clear silicone gel. RTV-268
Gel, designated to seal and protect delicate
electrical units against humidity, or any other
atmospheric contaminations as well as against
mechanical shock or vibration. RTV-268 cure may be
accelerated by the use of elevated temperature.

MIXING
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Weigh out amount
of RTV-268 Part A.
2. Measure into Part
A 1 part of Part B for each part of Part A.
3. Mix thoroughly,
scraping both sides and bottom of container.
4. De - gas if
necessary, for 5 to 10 minute
5. Pour into cavity
or unit.
CURE
SCHEDULE
Overnight at room
temperature (12-16 hours) at 250C;
Heating it the material to 80-1000C for
two hours can accelerate curing process.
