EPUSIL RTV 269
Clear, Low Viscosity RTV Silicone
DESCRIPTION
Epusil RTV 269
is a low viscosity, transparent RTV silicone
compound which cures to a water-clear silicone.
Epusil RTV 269 is used in situations where component
identification and vibration shock protection is
needed. Epusil RTV 269 cure may be accelerated by
the use of elevated temperature.

MIXING INSTRUCTION
1.
Weigh out amount of Epusil RTV 269 Part A.
2.
Measure into Part A, equal amount (volume or weight)
.
3.
Mix thoroughly, scraping both sides and bottom of
container.
4.
Pour into cavity or unit. Epusil RTV 269 will de-gas
if left undisturbed for 5 to 10 minutes.
CURE SCHDULE
Overnight at room temperature (12-16 hours) @ 25
0C; two hours at 50 0C;
One hour @ 65 0C.
NOTES
Certain materials may inhibit the cure of Epusil RTV
269 when placed in contact with mixed, uncured
rubber. Materials such as amines and amine-cured
epoxies, sulfur containing materials and
condensation (tin cured) silicones, are some, which
may cause inhibition. Even surfaces, which have been
in contact with such materials, may cause it. If in
doubt, a patch test should be done.
